How to create an Applicant Record using CV Parser

To create an Applicant Record using CV parser, see below but be aware that when using the CV Parser tool to create a new applicant record, the system is by default adding the data from this CV onto a current record on the system with the same name.

o add CVs to the Dropzone:

  1. Click Options, CV Parser, Dropzone.

  2. There are two ways to add CVs to the Dropzone:

    • Drag and drop CVs into the Dropzone box

    • Click the Dropzone image and select the files saved on the device

    The Results window appears.

  3. If the Results window does not appear, click Result.

  4. Select an Uploaded CV.

  5. Click Edit.

  6. Navigate through the tabs to update the fields.

  7. Click Save.

  8. Next to the Applicants name, on the left, click the check box.

  9. Click Action, Process Selected Applicants or Process all applicants.

By default CV Parser will match the CV being uploaded with any record, currently on the system, where the email address is the same.

The CV Parser tool will not match the records based on name alone in the case that there are different applicants with the same name.

Within the CV results area, there is an option on each record to create new applicant. If the results area matches a CV with a current record, please:

  1. Tick the selected applicant in the middle column

  2. Highlight Create New Applicant

  3. Click the Edit icon (πŸ–‰)

  4. Click in the box to insert a tick βœ“

  5. Click the tick (βœ”) to save the entry

  6. Click Action

  7. Choose Process Selected Applicant(s) or Process All Applicants
