The '?' icon next to a field in the report builder allows you to select certain values to be reported on in the report.
The dropdown contains the values:
Equals
Does not equal
Begins with
Does not begin with
Ends with
Does not end with
Contains
Does not contain
Like
Not like
Is blank
Is not blank
So, for example, you could decide you wanted to search for Job Title beginning with 'dir'.
