If you have old data stored in your browser cache this can cause performance issues when using web pages. Other reasons you may wish to clear your cache are:
Prevents you from using old data.
Protects your personal information.
Helps our applications run better on your computer.
Stored data can auto-populate old passwords, causing login issues.
Steps to clear my cache in Chrome
On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click on the three-dot menu.
Click Delete browsing data (or use Ctrl+Shift+Del)
Choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
Select the boxes by Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files.
Click Delete data.
Steps to clear my cache in Edge
On your computer, open Edge.
At the top right, click on the three-dot menu.
Click Settings.
Click Privacy, search and services.
Under Delete browsing data, select Choose what to clear.
From the Time range drop-down menu, choose a time range (All Time) .
Choose the types of data you want to clear, for example, you may want to remove browsing history and cookies but keep passwords and form-fill data.
Click Clear now.
Steps to clear my cache in Explorer

In Internet Explorer, select the Favorites button (Star Icon).
Click History.
Use the menu filters to choose how you want to view your history.
To delete specific sites, right-click a site from any of these lists and then click Delete. Or, return to a page by selecting any site in the list.
Click Delete your browsing history.
