Minimum requirements to run Access Recruitment CRM

These are the minimum requirements to use Access Recruitment CRM. Other devices, operating systems, browsers may work just fine outside of the information provided below, but we will not provide support or assistance in the event there is an issue found.

There is no need to download or install any software on your computer to use Access Recruitment CRM. You will just navigate to https://go.accessacloud.com/ in your preferred and supported web browser and log in to your account. Since you will be working in a web browser, there are also a few browser-related settings that you will need to know about.

We recommend you always keep your environments kept up to date to ensure that you are safe and secure when browsing the web. Being up to date also means you can make use of the latest technology and features which we try to make use of.

Operating Systems

Windows 10 and 11

We only support the Windows versions that Microsoft themselves support. Specific details can be viewed via the link below:

MacOS 11.7 and above

We highly recommend always being up to date on MacOS and as long as your device is relatively new, it should be a simple upgrade. Specific details can be viewed via the link below:

Safari versions supported are listed below.


Web Browsers

Of all the below browsers, we mostly recommend using Google Chrome as your preferred browser. This is regardless of what operating system you are using as Google Chrome is available on all major operating systems.

Google Chrome – latest stable

Google Chrome is our most highly recommended browser, due to its ease of use, constant feature improvements and security patches, and it's high usage rate around the world. This is our recommended browser for all scenarios. Chrome regularly issues updates and it is highly recommended you take these updates on as they come through.

Microsoft Edge – latest stable

Again, similarly to Google Chrome we will also always recommend being on the latest stable release. Microsoft also releases updates regularly, and it is highly recommended you take these updates on as they come through. As Microsoft Edge is now based on Chromium and was released on January 15, 2020. It is compatible with all supported versions of Windows, and macOS.

Mozilla Firefox – latest stable

Again, similarly to Google Chrome we will also always recommended you to be on the latest stable release. Firefox also releases updates regularly and it is highly recommended you take these updates on as they come through.

Apple Safari – latest stable

When using a Mac, we recommend being up to date with the latest MacOS and with that will also come with the latest Apple Safari. Apple Safari 10 was shipped with MacOS 10.10 so as long as you are following our recommended operating systems above, you will also be using a supported browser.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 – not supported

We do support the last release of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, though this is the last release of Internet Explorer and once all operating systems, which come with it, are at the end of their life and no longer supported, IE will no longer be supported.


Web Browser Settings

There are a couple of settings that may need to be enabled within your browser to allow Access Recruitment CRM to work.

  • Enable cookies - Make sure cookies are enabled in your browser so all parts of our application work as expected.

  • Enable pop-ups and JavaScript - Pop-ups and JavaScript should be enabled in your browser. Without JavaScript, the app will not work and without pop-ups, you will not be able to view any alerts or errors.

  • 1280 x 768 screen resolution - This is the minimum screen resolution we support, anything below may show some design issues and may impact functionality.

  • Check your web browser add-ons - In some cases, browser add-ons, extensions, or plugins may interfere with the functionality and design of Access Recruitment CRM. We will try our best to assist and work with you if they are required but may be unable to help in some cases.


Network Settings

For your safety, all of our domains use and will force you to use
HTTPS. To ensure that you are not blocked trying to get to our application, you may need to setup your networks firewall to allow the below domains:

  • *.accessacloud.com

  • *.googleapis.com

  • *intercomcdn.com

  • *intercom.io

  • *intercomassets.com

VPN/Proxy Settings

In the event that your company makes use of a proxy server to help handle requests, you will need to make sure that all above settings are correct as well as the following:

  • WebSockets

  • Session Tracking

  • Cross-domain resources


Our upgrade process also happens silently in the background, it should be clear that a new version has come out via a change in loading screen stating “Updating version” and information found in the release notes. Some proxies will include heavy caching and this may affect your visibility of the upgrade so the recommendation is to reduce the amount of caching for our application and to clear any caches when a new version is released.


Email Sync and Email Sending Settings

  • Email sending can be set up to use Microsoft Office 365 using Modern Authentication methods.

  • Please note currently you can still send emails out from within Access Recruitment CRM by using the basic SMTP set up so other providers, such as Google Mail (Gmail) can be used.

  • Access Recruitment CRM only synchronises emails with Microsoft Office 365 and uses Modern Authentication to do so.
