Emails are stuck in the mail queue as pending

This guide explains the reasons why email messages may be delayed and remain in a 'Pending' state within the queue.

This might be caused if a mailshot is sent out as the emails will stay in a pending status until the previous emails are sent.

πŸ“Œ ​Note: Our mail queue will process 30 emails per user every 2 minutes and these will be handled in sequential order. This limit and timings were put in to work in synergy with Microsoft 365 and ensure that we do not impact the limit set of 30 messages per minute that side.
