⚠️ Important: Please note that you will need to have an active job page with Volcanic for the integration to work.

For further information on Volcanic and to discuss your requirements, please talk to your Account Manager.

⚠️Important: The following can only be done by a person with Administrator rights

Enabling the integration:

The Volcanic team will need to supply the following information to you:

  • API Key

  • API URL

  • Web hook Unique ID

Once the above information is provided to you please follow the steps below:

  1. Open Access Recruitment CRM and log in

  2. Click Tools

  3. Click Integrations

  4. Click Volcanic

  5. Enter the details into the corresponding fields and select enable

📌 Note: Please ensure there are no trailing spaces in the fields as this is likely to stop the integration from functioning.

Features:

Data Mapping
You can define which Access Recruitment CRM fields are passed to Volcanic when publishing a job.
There are 2 mappings, one for contract/temp jobs and one for permanent jobs.

To map the data :

  1. Click Tools

  2. Click Integrations

  3. Click Volcanic

On the section for each job type, the Volcanic fields that can be mapped are visible. These are set as default but can be changed.

  • For each field type, click the drop down and chose which field you wish to transfer to Volcanic. E.g. for Job title the system defaults to Job Title however, you can amend this to be the Position.

  • Once the mappings are set click Save.

Using the HTML editor for job description formatting:

On each job record, under the Publish tab, there is an HTML editor available to style the description before it is sent to Volcanic.

📌 Note: This HTML editor is visible only in full edit mode. In the top toolbar, click edit and the editor will be appear in the sub section.

It has basic formatting:

  • Bold

  • Underline

  • Italics

  • Bulleted lists

Once the format has been set, click Save and publish the job. The job will then appear on your Volcanic job page with the formatting set and with the data mappings set as defined in the mappings section.
