Please check that records are not being filtered out, as follows:
Click Filter in the toolbar
Click on a selected filter in the right hand "Selected Filters" panel
Click the left-facing arrow
button to remove that filter
Repeat from step 2 until no filters are left under Selected Filters
Click All in the left-hand pane
Click the right-facing arrow
button to add the filter
Click Apply Filter
