Pay and Bill Timesheet expense/rate validation errors

This article explains what to do if you receive a validation error stating Timesheet expense - invoice line item code is not mapped.

After adding new Overtime Rates or Invoice Line Item expense codes to Access Recruitment CRM and using them in timesheets, they will need to be mapped to Access Pay and Bill overtime codes and expense codes respectively before any timesheets using them can be exported to Access Pay and Bill.

These mappings can be added as follows:

  1. Click Finance & Payroll and then click Access Pay and Bill

  2. Click the Mapping tab

  3. To add an overtime mapping:

    1. Click the ✚ button to the right of Pay and Bill Overtime Mapping

    2. Fill in the Overtime Value

    3. Fill in the Pay and Bill Code

    4. Click Save

  4. To add an expense mapping:

    1. Click the ✚ button to the right of Pay and Bill Expense Mapping

    2. Fill in the Invoice Line Item Code

    3. Fill in the Pay and Bill Code

    4. Click Save

Re-run validation to clear any related mapping exceptions and check to see if any more need to be added.
