  • The new Batch Sector Assignment screen will be displayed.

Sector Data Setup

  • The left-hand frame will display a list of all sectors you are currently logged into.

  • The right-hand frame will display the record types which can be updated. Only one record type of either Applicant, Contact, Client, Person, or Job can be selected.

  • One or more sectors can be selected for the record types of Applicant, Contact, Client or Person.

  • Only sector can be selected for record type of Job.

  • The selected sector(s) will then be assigned to the selected ‘record type’.

  • For records that are dual roles, both records will be updated with the selected sector(s).

  • Below the record type selection are two additional checkbox options which can be incorporated.

    • Remove existing Sectors from all records

      • This checkbox can only be selected for applicant, contact, client, and person record types.

      • By selecting this option, when Save is clicked, the existing sectors will be removed from the relevant record type in the saved tag file, prior to adding the newly selected sectors.

    • Assign new Sector to associated Client (Jobs only)

      • This checkbox can only be selected for the job record type.

      • By selecting this option, when Save is clicked, the client linked to the job will also be updated with the newly selected sector.

  • Towards the bottom of the screen is a section for the user agreement. The I accept the terms of use checkbox must be checked to progress the updates.

  • An error message will be displayed if Save is clicked without the agreement having been acknowledged.

  • Additional error messages will be included if any apply e.g. Select only one sector for Job record Type

Processing the selected Record Type

  • Having selected the new sector(s) and the record type, clicking Save will display a confirmation message to continue or cancel with the updates.

  • Clicking Yes will update the sectors to the records that match the selected record type within the focused saved tag file.

  • For jobs the linked client will also get updated if the checkbox has been selected.

  • For jobs, optionally, all linked placements can also be moved to the new sector.

  • A success message will be displayed on completion of updates.
