What are the different Applicant Action statuses?

This article explains what the different Applicant Action Status values are and how they are used.

The various (standard) values on the Applicant Action Status are:

Applicant on hold

1-SendCV

Applicant’s CV needs to be sent

2-CVSent

CV Sent, awaiting response

2

3-Reject

Applicant rejected by client

3

4-Interview

Interview requested by client

4

Withdrew

Applicant withdrew

4

5-ReInterview

Further interview requested by client

5

6-IntOffer

Position offered, awaiting applicant’s response

6

7-OfferAccept

Offer accepted by applicant

7

8-IntReject

Applicant rejected, following interview

8

9-OfferReject

Offer rejected by applicant

Please note:

  • On the Applicant Action Index, the status of the record changes from 1-SendCV to 2-CVSent, when CVs are sent out.

  • The status of the record changes to 4-Interview or 5-ReInterview when an interview is added into applicant action.

  • You manually change the status for the other stages of the applicant action process.

The statuses (along with their icons) are shown at the top of the Applicant record:

You can change the icon and/or description to suit your business

📌 Note: You can also change the position of the applicant action statuses so they display in the correct order for your business. Your Companies System administrator will need to go in to the applicant action statuses, click in to the pencil on each one and add the required position.
