Client records have a business growth area where you can update fields with the details of a prospective client. You can also update a pipeline stage bar to move and track a client through the prospect, negotiation, and commitment stages towards them being an active client.

Where are the Business Growth Details on a Client?

The business growth details sit in their own tab called Business Growth on the client record. The tab is accessible to all i.e. all users, team leaders and managers.

🤓 Tip: If the Business Growth tab is not visible when you open a client record, click the More tab and select Business Growth to add that tab to the client record.

Business Growth Pipeline Stages

At the top of the Business Growth tab is the pipeline stage bar listing the stages.

They are ordered in a set numerical position, followed by alphabetical description.

Each pipeline stage shows a circle, which when selected is colour coded purple to highlight the selected stage.

Clicking the required pipeline stage circle or stage description displays a confirmation message for you to confirm the stage change. After clicking Yes, the client is moved to the selected stage.

📌 Note: After selecting a pipeline status, you will be able to also see it in the summary card at the top of the client record.

⚠️ Important: Be aware, when adding a new client record, you need to have saved the new client first before you will have access to their Business Growth tab.

On an existing client record, if editing the record in Edit mode, the pipeline stage bar is hidden whilst in Edit mode.

Assign the appropriate number; with the lowest number displaying the value at the top of the list and highest number displaying the value at the bottom of the list.
