The Client Business Development area has been modernised to use the familiar main Client form, providing access to richer client data, flexible list and table views, and an expanded set of tools for building and managing a sales pipeline.
The GraphQL API has also been extended to expose Business Growth fields, enabling integration partners and advanced users to read and update this data programmatically.

Redesigned Client Business Development Experience
The Client Business Development area now opens using the main Client form, placing all relevant client details and Business Growth information in one familiar view. A āBusiness Developmentā indicator appears at the top of the form so it is always clear when you are working in this focused mode, and a single click removes it to return you to the standard Clients view.
View key client information including Details, Business Growth, Notes, Client Jobs, Placements, and Notebook tabs in one place.
Switch between List and Table views, with your preferred view remembered between sessions.
Run targeted Client searches and choose to add results to your current working list or replace it entirely.
Remove individual Clients from your working list at any time without affecting their underlying records.
Configure your preferred form view for Client Business Development separately from your standard Clients view, at both system and personal profile level.
Quickly Build Your Client Working List
A new Add button in Client Business Development makes it easy to populate your working list from multiple sources, saving time on manual searching. Clients already present in your list are never duplicated, and clear on-screen messages confirm what was added.
Add Clients from your Favourites list with a single click.
Add Clients directly from your Tag File.
Select a Saved Tag File and add all matching Clients in one action.
Use the Clients picklist to search for and select one or more specific Clients to add.
Tailored Table View for Client Business Development
When working in Table View within Client Business Development, you can now configure the columns shown to display the Business Growth data most relevant to your work. A curated set of columns is available, with a recommended default selection pre-applied to get you started quickly. Your choices are saved separately from your standard Clients table view so your preferences in each context are preserved independently.
Business Growth-specific columns include Lead Score, Sales Pipeline, Business Risk Factor, Contract Value, Key Competitors, Cross Sell/Up Sell, Peak Periods, and more.
Your column selection, sort order, and column filters are remembered between sessions.
Exporting from Table View produces a file containing only the columns currently visible on screen.
Business Growth Data Available via API
Business Growth fields - including the Key Decision Makers sub-list - are now accessible through the Access Recruitment CRM GraphQL API. This allows integration partners and users with API access to query Business Growth data, insert new records, and update existing information, supporting more connected workflows across your wider technology ecosystem.
How to Get Started
The redesigned Client Business Development experience is available as part of this release and can be enabled for your organisation by your Access Group account manager or Customer Success representative.
Once enabled, navigate to Canvassing ; Client Business Development to begin using the updated tools. The Business Growth API changes are available automatically to customers with existing GraphQL API access - no additional steps are required.
