Contact Business Growth - Release Notes V5.00

Business Growth module now includes Contact records. Recruiters and business development teams can track the full sales pipeline, key account data, and assigned users directly against individual contacts - a more complete picture of client engagement.

What’s New

Business Growth Tab on the Contact Form

A dedicated Business Growth tab is now available on the Contact form, mirroring the capability already in place on the Client form. When the Business Growth feature is enabled for your organisation, consultants will see this tab on existing Contact records, giving them direct access to business development data at the contact level.


Sales Pipeline Tracking

A visual pipeline stage selector is displayed at the top of the Business Growth tab. Consultants can click to update a contact’s current stage in the sales process, and the date of the last stage change is automatically recorded to support accurate reporting and pipeline management.


Key Account and Opportunity Data

A range of business development fields can now be captured and saved at the individual contact level. These include:

  • Industry Type, Number of Employees, Number of Sites, and Turnover.

  • Contract Value, Cross Sell/Up Sell opportunity, and Lead Score.

  • Date Engaged, Business Risk Factor, and Last Notebook Entry.


Assigned Users

Consultants can be assigned directly to a contact’s Business Growth record using a dedicated Users list on the tab. This makes it easy to see at a glance who in your team is responsible for managing a particular contact relationship.


Contact Table View Columns

All Business Growth fields - including Sales Pipeline, Industry Type, Lead Score, and assigned Business Growth Users - are now available as optional columns in the Contact table view, allowing teams to build tailored list views to support their business development workflow.


How to Get Started

The Business Growth tab on the Contact form is available as part of Release 5.00. It is controlled by the same Business Growth feature toggle used for Client records. If Business Growth is already enabled for your organisation, the Contact tab will be available automatically. If you would like to enable Business Growth, please contact your Access Group account manager.
