Overview
Onboarded is a candidate screening platform that automates pre-employment checks and helps you get candidates work-ready faster. This article explains how to access Onboarded directly from a contact record so you can initiate onboarding and screening checks using the contact and their linked client details.
โ ๏ธ Important: Your administrator must enable the Onboarded feature toggle and configure the integration in Tools, then Integrations, then Onboarded before you can use the Onboarded tab on contact records.
Send Contact and Client Details for Screening
Follow these steps to open the Onboarded interface from a contact and automatically send their details for screening.
Go to Contacts, then select the contact you want to screen.
Click More, then click Onboarded.
Wait while the Onboarded interface loads for that contact and their associated client company.
In Onboarded, review the onboarding and screening options for the contact and client, then continue the checks as required.
What Information Is Sent to Onboarded
When you open the Onboarded tab on a contact record, the system automatically sends:
The contactโs details.
The linked client/company details.
This information allows Onboarded to initiate the appropriate screening and compliance checks for that contact and client.
๐ Note: The Onboarded tab only appears on contact records when the integration is enabled for your organisation. If the integration is not set up correctly, an error message appears when you try to open the tab.
๐ Note: You can access the Onboarded tab by going to Contacts, then selecting a contact, clicking More, then clicking Onboarded.
Set Up the Onboarded Integration
Use these steps if you are an administrator responsible for enabling the Onboarded integration.
Sign in with an account that has permission to manage integrations.
Go to Tools, then click Integrations.
Click Onboarded, then complete the required configuration for your organisation.
Enable the Onboarded feature toggle so users can see and use the Onboarded tab on contact records.
โ ๏ธ Important: If the integration is not configured or the feature toggle is not enabled, users will see an error message when they try to access the Onboarded tab from a contact record.
๐ก Best Practices
Confirm the contact and client details are up to date before opening the Onboarded tab so accurate information is sent for screening.
Use the Onboarded tab from the primary contact record for a client to keep onboarding and screening activity easy to track.
If users report errors when loading the Onboarded tab, first check that the Onboarded feature toggle is enabled and the integration is configured in Tools ; Integrations ; Onboarded.
