Overview
Improve job organisation and client visibility by tagging jobs and displaying preferred client names in Scheduling 2.0.
⚠️ Important: Some features described in this article require specific permissions. If you cannot see tagging options or system settings, contact your system administrator.
Add Jobs to Tag and Saved Tag Files
Tagging helps you organise jobs you are working on or want to return to later, reducing the need to repeatedly search for the same records.
Add a Job to Your Tag File
Go to Scheduling 2.0, then locate the job you want to organise.
Click the three-dot menu (⠇) on the job, then select Tag.
A green success message confirms the job has been added to your tag file.
Add a Job to a Saved Tag File
Go to Scheduling 2.0, then locate the job you want to organise.
Click the three-dot menu (⠇) on the job, then select Add to Saved Tag File.
Choose the relevant saved tag file, then click Select.
A green success message confirms the job has been added to the selected saved tag file.
📌 Note: Duplicate jobs are not added to the same tag file. If a job is already tagged, the system prevents duplicates automatically.
📌 Note: If the Tag Job restriction applies to your user account, tagging options appear disabled.
Display Client File As Names
You can choose to display a client’s preferred File As name instead of the official company name. This helps teams recognise clients using familiar or shortened naming conventions.
Enable Client File As (System Administrators)
Go to Options, then click System Settings.
Select System Owner, then open the Global Settings tab.
Find Use Client File As in Scheduling 2.0, then tick the checkbox.
Click Save to apply the change.
📌 Note: This setting is turned off by default and applies to all users once enabled.
View Client File As on Job Cards
When the setting is enabled:
Open Scheduling 2.0, then review jobs in the main view.
The job card shows the client’s File As name if one exists.
If no File As value exists, the system displays the standard client company name.
View Client File As in Shift Details
When the setting is enabled:
Click a shift to open the shift details modal.
The client’s File As name appears at the top if one exists.
If no File As value exists, the standard client company name appears instead.
📌 Note: Only system administrators can change this global setting, and it affects all users equally.
💡 Best Practices
Use saved tag files to group jobs you review or action regularly.
Agree on consistent File As naming conventions to improve recognition across teams.
Review user permissions regularly to ensure tagging features remain available.
🤔 FAQs
Q1: Why can’t I see the tag options on a job?
Answer: Your user account may have the Tag Job restriction applied, which disables tagging features.
Q2: What happens if a client does not have a File As value?
Answer: The system automatically shows the client’s official company name instead.
