What’s new?
We have introduced a hyperlink on the Limited Company field within Applicant Employment Details, so that when a Limited Company is associated, the client name opens the Client Quick View panel or the full Client Child Window if clicked directly. When entering edit mode on the Notes tab, the cursor now automatically positions at the top with a blank line inserted above existing notes. We have also removed the Client ID field from the smartAI integration tab and introduced a new CV Description download format option under My Profile ; CV tab, where the file name is taken from the CV Description field, with special characters ignored and duplicates numbered sequentially.
How do I start using it?
Open Client Record from Applicant Employment Details
We have introduced a hyperlink on the Limited Company field within Applicant → View → Applicant Employment Details.
When we navigate to an applicant's Employment Details and a Limited Company is associated, we will now see the client name displayed as a clickable link.
Clicking this link opens the Client Quick View panel to the right, allowing us to review the supplier client record without leaving the page. If we click directly on the client name, the full Client Child Window opens, where any changes made can be saved.
Default the Notebook Tab Cursor to the top of the tab
We have improved the behaviour of the Notes tab when entering edit mode.
When we click the Edit button and navigate to the Notes tab, the cursor will now automatically position itself at the top of the text area, ready for input.
If existing notes are already present, a new blank line is inserted above them so that new entries can be added immediately, without needing to manually place the cursor.
Client ID removed from smartAI integration tab card
We have removed the Client ID field from the Tools ; Integrations ; smartAI tab to simplify the integration setup and reduce potential confusion during configuration.
CV download file name to display 'CV Description'
We have introduced a new CV download format option, CV Description, available under My Profile ; CV tab ; Download Format. When selected, the downloaded CV file will take its name from the CV Description field.
The following rules apply to the generated file name:
If the CV has a description, that description is used as the file name.
If the CV does not have a description but the applicant has a surname set, the file name defaults to "CV For [Applicant First Last Name]".
The original file extension is always preserved.
Special characters, including <, >, :, ", /, , |, ?, and *, are ignored when generating the file name.
If duplicate file names exist, subsequent files are numbered sequentially, for example cvdescription.pdf, cvdescription(1).pdf.
This applies to the CVs tab card only and does not affect document downloads from other areas of the system.
