What’s New

Bulk Delete CV Parser Records

Found in: Tools ; CV Parser ; Results ; Action dropdown ; Bulk Delete

You can now remove multiple CV Parser records in one go, rather than deleting them one at a time. Simply select the records you want to remove using the tickboxes in list view, then choose Bulk Delete from the Action dropdown. You'll be asked to confirm before anything is deleted, and once complete, a success message will confirm how many records were removed. This makes it much easier to keep your CV Parser Results list clean and stay on top of GDPR obligations.

Control Who Can Access CV Parser Configuration Settings

Found in: Options ; Manager ; CV Parser ; CV Parser Configurations

A new permission - Permission to View/Edit CV Parser Configurations - gives system administrators control over which users can see and modify the CV Parser Configuration screen. This screen controls how Daxtra parsing data is written across your system, so it's important that only the right people have access.

Users without the permission will no longer see the Configuration option in the menu. If they try to access it directly, they'll see a clear Insufficient Permission message and be redirected to the home screen.

Protection Against Accidental Data Overwrites

Found in : Tools ; CV Parser ; Results

When matching a parsed CV to an existing candidate record, you'll now see a clear warning before any data is overwritten. A prompt will appear asking: This action will overwrite the existing applicant record. Do you want to continue? - giving you the chance to confirm or step back before making changes. This extra step helps protect candidate data integrity, particularly when re-parsing CVs or processing records in bulk.

Title Field Now Captured from Parsed CVs

Found in: Tools ; CV Parser ; Results ; [Record] ; Person tab ; Applicant Info

The CV Parser Results record now includes a Title field (e.g. Mr, Mrs, Ms, Dr, Prof), positioned before the candidate's name. When Daxtra returns a title value from the parsed CV, it will be automatically matched to your Access Recruitment CRM Title list and populated for you. If no title is found, or if there's a minor formatting difference, the field will simply be left blank - no errors, no disruption.

When the record is processed and a candidate is created or updated in Access Recruitment CRM, the title is saved consistently alongside the rest of their details.

Clearer Duplicate Warnings When Parsing CVs

Found in: Tools ; CV Parser ; Results ; Action ; Process Selected Applicant(s) or Process All Applicants

We've significantly improved the experience when a parsed CV matches an existing candidate, to make it much harder to accidentally create duplicates. Here's what's changed:

  • The Create New Applicant checkbox now appears after the Select button, making the flow more intuitive.

  • A bold red warning label now appears next to the checkbox: Only tick this if you are certain that this is a different person to the matches above.

  • If you tick Create New Applicant when a potential duplicate has been detected, a confirmation prompt will appear asking you to confirm your intent before proceeding.

  • During bulk processing, any records with an unresolved duplicate match will be automatically skipped. After processing, you'll see a clear message telling you how many were skipped so you can review them individually.

These changes reduce the risk of duplicate candidate records being created at scale, while still giving you full flexibility to override when you are confident it is a genuinely new person.
