What's New
Quick Action - Add to Review List
Recruitment consultants can now shortlist candidates against a vacancy without leaving Evo Navigator or Evo Researcher. A new quick action lets you search for applicants and a job, and add the selected applicants straight onto that job's review list in a single step, cutting out manual cross-referencing between screens and speeding up candidate shortlisting
A new Add to Review List quick action is now available in Evo Navigator and Evo Researcher, giving you the following capabilities:
Search for applicants by name and see matching results, including their current job title and email address.
Select one or more applicants to shortlist, with each selection clearly marked and easy to remove if you change your mind.
Open any applicant's full record directly in Access Recruitment CRM from either the search results or your selected list.
Search for a job by title or reference and see matching jobs, including their reference, company and status.
Select a single job to shortlist against, with the option to clear your choice and pick a different one.
Open the selected job's full record directly in Access Recruitment CRM.
Add all selected applicants to the chosen job's review list in one action.
Clear feedback and confirmation
If an applicant cannot be added to the review list, for example, because they are already on it, you will see a clear message explaining which applicants were affected and why. Applicants who were added successfully are removed from your selection automatically, so you can retry just the ones that need attention.
Once your applicants are added successfully, a confirmation screen shows how many applicants were added and to which job, along with a button to open the job directly in Access Recruitment CRM and a button to start shortlisting for another job.
Works the way you already do
The quick action is available from both Evo Navigator and Evo Researcher, so you can shortlist candidates from wherever you are already working. When launched from Evo Researcher, the action can also arrive pre-populated with an applicant, a job, or both already selected, saving you from searching again for details you already had on screen.
Access to this feature is controlled by your existing Access Recruitment CRM permissions. If you do not have permission to add applicants to a review list, you will see a clear message rather than the form.
Add Applicant Availability
What's Changed
Recruitment consultants can now create availability and calendar events for applicants directly from Evo Navigator, using a new Quick Action called Access Recruitment CRM Add Availability. The same panel is also available in Evo Researcher and supports pre-population so calls can hand off event details without re-entering them.
How It Works
Opening the panel presents a search screen where the user can find an applicant by typing at least two characters of a name or email address. Results show each applicant's name, initials, and summary information. Selecting one takes the user to the event form, with a banner confirming the chosen applicant and a back button to return to search.
The event form is organised into three collapsible sections. The Event section (expanded by default) contains Title, Event Type, Colour, Private, Start/End date and time, and an All Day Event toggle. Selecting an Event Type automatically sets the event colour to that type's default, though users can override it via a colour picker. Ticking All Day Event hides the time fields and shows only dates. End date/time is validated against start date/time, with immediate error messages on an invalid combination.
The Repeat section lets users configure recurrence: Never, Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly, with a repeat interval and frequency-specific options (e.g. days of the week for Weekly, date of month for Monthly, month and date for Yearly). Repeats can end Never, after a set number of occurrences, or on a specific date.
The Other Links section allows the event to be linked to Applicants, Clients, Contacts, Jobs, Placements, or Applicant Actions. Users add a link row via the Add button, search for the specific record, and remove links as needed.
Clicking Save validates the required fields (Title, Event Type, Start and End dates) before saving. A successful save shows a confirmation message and closes the MFE automatically; a failed save shows an error and allows the user to retry.
When launched from Evo Researcher, the form can be pre-populated with the applicant, event type (with matching colour), title, start/end date and time, and all-day status skipping the applicant search step entirely.
User Benefits
Allows consultants to log and manage applicant availability without leaving their Navigator workspace
Flexible recurrence options support both one-off and repeating events (interviews, check-ins, etc.)
Linking events to related records (placements, jobs, clients) keeps availability tied to the right context
Pre-population from Evo Researcher removes duplicate data entry when scheduling from a call
đ How to Get Started
