Overview
A comprehensive Self Billing module and workflow has been implemented into Access Recruitment CRM to support RDB customers migrating to the Access Recruitment CRM, enabling the creation, management and processing of self-billed invoices with full feature parity.
This feature continues the programme of enhancements and improvements to close the gaps for RDB Clients.
How do I start using it?
Bulk Actions Respect Active Filters
Whatâs New
Bulk actions on the Self Billing invoice list now stay strictly scoped to whatever you've filtered, searched, or selected - so approving, rejecting, querying, emailing, or deleting invoices only ever touches the invoices you can see and have ticked.
Alongside this, a new page size control lets you choose how many invoices are listed per page.
How It Works
A new Invoices per Page dropdown now sits above the invoice list, letting you choose 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, or 100 invoices per page - 10 remains the default. Once selected, the list updates immediately and your choice is remembered as a sticky setting, so it's still applied next time you come back to the Self Billing page.
When you apply a status card filter, enter a search term, or combine both, the invoice list narrows to match. Any bulk action you trigger from that point - Approve, Query, Reject, Email, or Delete - now applies only to the invoices you've selected from that filtered list. Invoices sitting outside the active filter or search term are never included, no matter how many you've selected elsewhere.
The selected invoice count shown in the bulk actions bar (e.g. "3 invoice(s) selected") reflects only what you've picked from the filtered results. If you're working through multiple pages of a filtered list, selecting invoices on one page and running a bulk action affects only that page's selection - invoices on other pages are left untouched.
Applying, changing, or removing a filter or search term automatically clears your current selection and hides the bulk actions bar, so you always start a fresh, deliberate selection against the updated list rather than carrying over a stale one. Confirmation dialogs for bulk delete and bulk status changes (Approve, Query, Reject) now show counts and warnings that match your filtered selection exactly - for example, "You are about to delete 3 invoice(s)" reflects only the filtered set, never the full list.
Once a bulk action completes successfully, your active filter, search term, sort order, and current page are all retained - the list simply refreshes to reflect the outcome. If a status update moves an invoice outside your active filter, it drops out of the visible list; everything else stays exactly as it was. The same protection applies if a bulk action fails or you cancel out of a confirmation dialog - your filters, search term, sort, page, and selection are all preserved so you can pick up where you left off without redoing your setup.
If no filter or search term is active, bulk actions continue to behave exactly as before, with no change to the unfiltered experience.
User Benefits
You can now work confidently through a targeted subset of invoices - filtered by status, searched by name or reference, or both - knowing that bulk actions will never spill over into invoices outside that view. Combined with the new page size control, this makes it much easier to process large invoice volumes in manageable, accurate batches without the risk of accidentally affecting unrelated records.

Summary Cards Now Remember Your Filtered Totals
Whatâs New
The summary cards on the Self Billing screen now correctly remember and redisplay totals for any active search or filter when you navigate away and come back - rather than resetting to the full, unfiltered totals.
How It Works
The summary card totals now stay in sync with whatever view of the invoice list was active before you left the page:
Filter and search both applied - when you return, the previous filter selections and search term are both restored, the invoice list shows the same filtered/searched results as before, and the summary cards display totals matching that restored list - not the full unfiltered list.
Search only - if only a search term was active (no filters), returning to the page restores the search term, re-filters the list to match it, and the summary cards reflect totals for the search-matched invoices only.
Filter only - if only filters were active (no search term), returning to the page restores the filter selections, the list shows only the filter-matched invoices, and the summary cards reflect totals for those invoices only.
Neither applied - if no search or filter was active before navigating away, the page returns to showing the full invoice list with no filters or search applied, and the summary cards display totals for the complete, unfiltered list.
User Benefits
Recruiters using Self Billing no longer lose their place when they step away from the invoice list and come back. Whatever combination of search and filters they'd set up - and the totals that go with it - is exactly as they left it, so there's no need to re-check the summary cards against a totals figure that quietly reset behind the scenes.
