Exchange sync does not work for all users

Users are experiencing issues with their exchange sync.

If your exchange sync does not work it could relate to your password changing. If this is the case:

  1. Click My Actions then click Exchange Accounts

  2. Click on the Pencil symbol on the Exchange account row and amend the password.

  3. Remember to have the Email sync enabled checkbox ticked and an initial sync date filled in

Please also make sure the email address of the emails you are trying to sync is attached to a record in the database.

πŸ“Œ Note:

  1. The above only applies if you are using Exchange Sync with Basic Authentication.

  2. if you need to set up Exchange Sync to use Modern Authentication as per the changes implemented by Microsoft from 1 October 2022, please use the RCRM email sync and sending emails using modern authentication guide.

  3. If you have previously set up Exchange Sync and have now changed to using Modern Authentication, you will need to delete your existing Sync profile and create a new one.
