Exchange Sync configuration

The following steps show how to enable Microsoft Exchange Sync in Access Recruitment CRM using Office 365.

Enable the Exchange Sync in Access Recruitment CRM Server Task.

Once you've completed the initial configuration steps, please check the Server Task runs and that there are no authentication errors.


Enable Access Recruitment CRM user Exchange Sync

To enable Exchange Sync for an Access Recruitment CRM user, follow the steps below:

πŸ“Œ Note: If your user has previously used Basic Authentication to perform Exchange Sync, delete this record in Access Recruitment CRM and create a new record.

πŸ€“ ​Tip: If you're Configuring Exchange Sync Modern Authentication for the first time, do this for a single user and confirm their emails are synced without any errors.


Proceed as follows:

  1. Log in as the user to be configured

  2. Click My Actions and then click Exchange Accounts

  3. If a previous record exists, using Basic Authentication, click Remove

  4. Click + New

  5. Enter the following details:

    1. Email: The email address for this user in Office 365

    2. Select Email Sync Enabled

    3. Select the Initial Sync Date

  6. Click Save

  7. To close the Profile, click Save again

Exchange Sync process

The Exchange Sync background process runs every five minutes, which syncs any emails that match a consultant's applicants or contacts and adds these as Notebook Items.
