If GDPR blockers are set up (enabled):
then the GDPR tab:
needs to be updated on the applicant record to allow users to contact the applicant via that method, e.g SMS - permission to allow a user to send an SMS.
For Mailshot management, clients have a choice, the can EITHER use the GDPR blockers, this blocker prevents Mailshots unless the Mailshot GDPR has been set on the Applicant record OR Mailshot Options which offer the additional option of allowing users to opt Applicants in to specific mailshot types and exclude them from others.
To edit the Mailshot Options on the applicant record:
Click Applicants and then Select the applicant
click the View button (
)
choose Mailshot Options
select the option you want to set
click Save
The options available are :
Opt In For All Mailshots
Opt Out For All Mailshots
Specifically Opt In For Mailshots (which are then detailed under the Mailshot Categories drop-down)
