What’s new?

The breadth of enhancements focusses on highlighted UX issues, data visibility, slow performance, data sorting and insufficient information to improve on the overall useability of Access Recruitment CRM to ensure it meets the range of customer expectations.


Why have we developed these features?

We are continuing to use ongoing feedback from our customer base on the useability and functionality of Access Recruitment CRM, and in line with Access’s strategic roadmap, to add several enhancements to the latest release.


EVO Feeds

Feeds - User Settings & Interviews Due Today cards

In Access Button dropdown ; Feeds we are now able to see 'Interviews need to action today' or 'Interviews in future'.

  • If the Interviews are added under Jobs, then when user navigates to My Actions ; Profile ; Feeds tab, the following fields now appear below Overdue Tasks field:

    • Interviews Due Today label:

      • 'Ownership' field. This one displays a dropdown with:

        • All

        • Own (selected by default)

    • On clicking 'Save' the Feeds preferences are saved.

  • Interview Feed Display: When users add interviews under Jobs ; Interviews that are due today, they will see them in the feed when the Interview task is run and the Access button dropdown ; Feed is clicked.

  • The feed will display the 'Recruitment' product logo.

  • To the right of the logo, users will see:

    • Product Name ('Access Recruitment CRM')

    • Time Created ('n hours ago' - where 'n' is the number of hours since the feed was created)

    • Interview Due Today (This bold heading will appear if the interview date is today)

    • Applicant (Name, First Name, Interview Type will only appear if added)

    • Client

    • Contact

    • Job Title

    • Date & Time (HH:MM)

    • View Interview (A hyperlink that navigates to the interview record in Access Recruitment CRM)

Access Button Feed window

  • Feed Visibility Options: Under My Actions ; Profile ; Feeds tab ; Interviews section ; Due Today, users can select:

    • All: Displays all interviews created by the user and other users.

    • Own: Displays only interviews created by the user.

  • Interview Visibility: Interviews will no longer be visible in the feed if:

    • The interview is deleted.

    • The interview is more than one day old (before yesterday's midnight).

    • Interview Feed Updates: The feed updates at 12 AM and 12 PM daily to ensure no duplicates.


Feeds - User Settings & Interviews Due in Future cards

We have introduced a new feature to help users easily see interviews scheduled for the future, allowing for better planning and efficiency.

When users add interviews under Jobs, they can navigate to My Actions ; Profile ; Feeds tab to set their preferences. The following fields appear:

  • Interviews Due In Future label

  • Ownership, which displays a dropdown with the following values:

    • All

    • Own (selected by default)

  • Days in Future, which displays a dropdown list with the following values:

    • 5 (selected by default)

    • 7

    • 10

    • 14

    • Also, an infotip is visible here, which displays the following text: 'Displays interviews within the selected number of days from today's date (excluding today's date).'

Users can click 'Save' to save their Feed preferences.

  • When users add interviews under Jobs ; Interviews that are due in the future (Interview date is > Today's Date), they can run the Interview task and click the Access button dropdown ; Feed to see the following:

    • Recruitment Product Logo: The feed will display the 'Recruitment' product logo.

    • Feed Details: To the right of the logo, users will see:

      • Product Name: 'Access Recruitment CRM'

      • Time Created: ' hours ago' (where 'n' is the number of hours since the feed was created)

      • Interview Due in Future: This bold heading will appear if the interview date is in the future.

      • Applicant Details: - (First Name, Last Name, Interview Type will only appear if added)

      • Client

      • Contact

      • Job Title

      • Date: <Interview Date DD/MM/YYYY>

Access button ; Feed Interviews Due In Future

  • Feed Visibility Options: Under My Actions ; Profile ; Feeds tab ; Interviews In Future section, users can select:

    • Ownership:

      • All: Displays all interviews created by the user and other users.

      • Own: Displays only interviews created by the user.

    • Days in Future:

      • 5: Displays interview details where the interview date is 5 days from today's date (excluding today's date).

      • 7: Displays interview details where the interview date is 7 days from today's date (excluding today's date).

      • 10: Displays interview details where the interview date is 10 days from today's date (excluding today's date).

      • 14: Displays interview details where the interview date is 14 days from today's date (excluding today's date).

  • Interview Visibility: Interviews will no longer be visible in the feed if they are deleted.

  • Interview Feed Updates: The feed updates at 12 AM and 12 PM daily to ensure no duplicates.


Feeds - Introduce 'Complete' button to Complete a Task from the Feed

We have introduced a new feature that allows users to complete or dismiss tasks directly from their Feed.

  • Users can now process tasks directly from their Feed, including tasks that are due today and overdue tasks.

  • New Buttons Available:

    • Complete: When users click the 'Complete' button, the following fields on the Task record are set in Access Recruitment CRM:

      • '% Completed' (100%)

      • 'Completed Date' (today's date)

      • 'Task Status' (Complete)

      • 'Updated User' (Updated User name)

      • 'Updated On' (Updated Date and Time)

    • Task Removal from Feed: The task will be removed from the Feed when the Feed refreshes.

Create collapsible sections for Feed settings

We have introduced a new feature to make it easier for users to view and manage Feed settings without getting overwhelmed by a long list of options.

Profile ; Feeds ; Collapsible sections
  • Grouped Settings:

    • When users navigate to My Actions ; Profile ; Feeds tab, all settings are now grouped by a collapsible header. The header will display the heading of the Feed settings.

  • Expandable Sections:

    • Users can expand each section to change the relevant settings, making it easier to find and adjust specific options.


User Settings for Timesheet Statuses & Feed cards

User Preferences:

If the timesheets are created in the timesheet form in Access Recruitment CRM, when the user navigates to My Actions ; Profile ; Feeds tab, then:

  • the following fields appear (below Interviews in Future section):

    • Timesheets label

      • A 'Days to Display Feed' label

        • It will display a multi select window that displays the following options:

          • Monday

          • Tuesday

          • Wednesday

          • Thursday

          • Friday

          • Saturday

          • Sunday

        • User can tick multiple days in this window

        • A select / deselect all buttons appear below the window which can be used to Select All days or Deselect All Days in this window

        • No option is selected by default in this window

      • A 'Period' label is visible below

        • Next to the label is a dropdown that displays a list of Timesheet Periods added under Timesheet Manager ; Timesheets ; Filter window ; Timesheet Period Options

        • The 'Past 3 Months' option is selected as default

    • Below that a section called Timesheet Statuses appears

      • It displays a list of Timesheets (arranged by Priority) taken from Options ; Manager ; Status ; Timesheet Approval Status

      • To the right of the label is a dropdown that displays 3 values:

        • None (Selected by default)

        • Own

        • All

  • On clicking Save the Feeds preferences are saved.


Timesheets Status Feed cards

If the user has:

  • timesheets created in the timesheet form that includes a Timesheet Status and

  • has selected at least 1 Day in the Days multi select window under My Actions ; Profile ; Feeds tab ; Timesheets section ; Days to Display Feed and

  • has selected at least 1 Timesheet Status which is not 'None' under My Actions ; Profile ; Feeds tab ; Timesheet Statuses section

When,

  • Today is the selected day or one of the selected days from under My Actions ; Profile ; Feeds tab ; Timesheets section ; Days to Display Feed and the user clicks the Access button dropdown ; Feed

Then the following is displayed in Feeds:

  • a 'Recruitment' Product logo

  • the following wordings to the right of the logo:

    • Product Name: 'Access Recruitment CRM'

    • '<n> hours / minutes ago' where 'n' is the number of hours /minutes ago the feed was created

  • Scenario 1: More than 1 Timesheet

    • If there is more than 1 Timesheet for the selected status the following appears:

      • '<n> Timesheets - <Timesheet Status>'

      • 'Period: <Selected Timesheet Period>'

      • Ownership : <All or Own based on settings>

      • 'View Timesheets'

      • <Dismiss button>

  • Scenario 2: 1 Timesheet

    • If there is 1 Timesheet for the selected status the following appears:

      • '<n> Timesheet - <Timesheet Status>'

      • Applicant: <Applicant FName LName>

      • Client: <Client name>

      • Contact: <Timesheet Contact FName LName>

      • Job: <Job Title>

        • Displays only if Job Title is present on a Timesheet

      • Placement: <Placement Description>

      • Ownership: <All or Own based on settings>

      • 'View Timesheet'

      • <Dismiss button>

  • For both Scenario 1 & 2 above:

    • <n> is the total count of Timesheets found for the selected Status within the selected Timesheet period (Timesheet Period = Timesheets created within a period)

    • On clicking 'View Timesheet' hyperlink:

      • The current filter on Timesheet form is replaced by the following new filter selected under My Profile ; Feeds tab:

        • Filter by the selected Timesheet Status AND

        • Selected Timesheet Period AND

        • All

          • The Feed displays All Timesheets with a selected status created by the user and other users

        • Own

          • The Feed displays All Timesheets with a selected status created by the user

    • 'Dismiss' button on clicked:

      • Displays a tick

      • Removes the Timesheet from the Feed display in under a minute

      • Once dismissed, the Timesheet Feed card will not display when the Timesheet Task runs.


Timesheet Approval Task:

  • The Timesheet Tasks updates at these times (no duplicates): 1 AM
