By including a view that shows permanent placements, the Placement Manager addresses all types of recruitment activity, ensuring that Access Recruitment CRM continues to underpin the range of recruitment focus required to support our customers.
The Placement Manager creates a better platform to both protect existing revenue, as well as strengthen opportunities across the recruitment sector.
Placement Manager - Additional Optional Columns
What's New?
You can now add Job Grade and Contract Rate as optional columns in Placement Manager, giving you quick visibility of role levels and rates across your placements.
Having job grade and rate information visible in your placement list helps you manage placements more effectively. You can quickly see what level of role each placement is for and what rate is being charged, without having to open individual placement records.
How to Add the Columns
Go to Placements ; Placement Manager ; Contract/Temp Manager.
Click the settings wheel (⚙ cogwheel).
Select Configure columns.
Find the new columns in the Available list:
Job Grade - the grade/level of the job.
Contract Rate - the description of the contract rate being used.
Select the columns you want.
Move them to the Selected list.
Click Save.
The new columns will appear in your Placement Manager view.
Using the Columns
Job Grade
Shows the grade or level of the position from the linked job. This helps you quickly identify seniority levels across your placements.
Contract Rate
Shows the contract rate description from the placement's Rates tab. This lets you see at a glance what rate structure is being used.
Both columns can be:
Sorted (click the column header).
Filtered (use standard table filtering).
Included in exports.
Both columns are optional and won't appear automatically. If you click Restore Defaults, they'll be removed and you'll need to add them again.
Placement Manager Loading Indicator
What's New?
The Placement Manager now greys out the screen while loading data. This gives you clear visual feedback that data is being fetched and prevents accidental multiple requests.
Previously, you could click multiple filters or searches while data was still loading, which could cause performance issues or incorrect results. Now you'll know when the system is busy and can wait for it to finish before making your next request.
What You'll See
When the Placement Manager is loading data, the screen will:
Grey out (like Scheduling 2.0).
Show a loading spinner.
Prevent you from clicking buttons or applying new filters.
Once the data has loaded:
The screen returns to normal.
You can use the page as usual.
When This Happens
You'll see the loading state when:
First opening the Placement Manager.
Changing any filter.
Performing a search.
Changing the date or period.
Using the 3-dot menu to view details and save.

Ready for Billing Permissions and Bulk Actions
What's New?
You can now control who can set and unset the Ready for Billing flag on timesheets in bulk. New permissions let administrators manage this access, and the bulk actions have been improved with clearer naming.
The Ready for Billing flag is important for invoice processing. The new permissions (below) give you control over who can mark timesheets as ready to bill (or remove that flag), helping ensure timesheets are processed correctly by the right people.
Your administrator can now assign two new permissions to user roles:
Improved Bulk Actions
What's Changed
The bulk action option has been renamed for clarity from Mark as ready for billing to Set Ready for Billing.

Go to Placements ; Timesheet Manager ; Timesheets.
Select the timesheets you want to set.
Click Action.

Click Yes to confirm.

How many were already set.
How many couldn't be edited.

Timesheet Import
When importing timesheets via the Data Importer, the label Mark Ready for Billing is now Set Ready for Billing.
Permission control
If you do not have Permission to bulk set Ready for Billing on Timesheets, the checkbox option will be hidden.
Found under Tools ; Data Import ; Timesheets ; Step 2 (Set Status).
User restrictions
If you have the Timesheet Create restriction applied to your role, both bulk options will be disabled even if you have the permissions.
Individual timesheet editing
The existing rules for editing individual timesheets (in edit mode or directly into the fields) remain unchanged. The new permissions only apply to bulk actions.
Options disabled by default
Both Set Ready for Billing and Unset Ready for Billing are greyed out until you select timesheets and have the appropriate permissions.
