Building on the latest version of Placement Manager, useability and functional enhancements addresses key feedback from clients.
How do I start using it?
Placement Manager Menu Option
Users with administrator access can now enable or disable the Placement Manager functionality via the Feature Toggles area.
If this feature is enabled, the option can be found within the menu structure of Placements ; Placement Manager ; Contract/Temp Manager.
Placement Manager Screen
Clicking on the Contract/Temp Placements option from the left will display a full screen to the right.
As default, active placements covering the current week (starting on the Monday and ending on the Sunday) will be listed.
For a placement to be deemed active and to be listed, the follow are checked:
- is a non-permanent placement and
- the applicant has not requested to be forgotten and
- the placement starts in the date range or
- the placement ends in the date range or
- the placement starts and ends in the date range or
- the Placement started before the date range and ends after the date range
All data relating to each placement will be displayed within two data grids.
Ability to Search by Saved Tag File
The Search Bar now contains a new placeholder of Saved Tag File.
By entering in the starting letters of the name of one of your saved tag files, matching files will be offered for selection.
A saved tag file can be selected, and applicants that are listed in the selected file will be filtered to in the grid, providing their placements match the rules stated earlier.
Applicant Status in Config Columns
Under the Config Cog ⚙ ; Configuration Columns option, the Applicant Status is now available as an optional field in the left-hand side of the screen.
This column can be moved to the right-hand side, after which it will appear in the data grid, detailing each applicant’s status value.
Total Shifts in Config Columns
Under the Config Cog ⚙ ; Configuration Columns option, a new calculated column of Total Shifts is available as an optional field in the left-hand side of the screen.
This column can be moved to the right-hand side and details the total number of shifts per placement for the date range being viewed.
Reset Sorting Option
Under the Config Cog ⚙, the standard option of Reset Sorting has been introduced to quickly remove all sorting applied to the placements data grid.
